			<description><![CDATA[ Hi, I am new to the forum and need help to ID a helmet with unusual red stripe on it from front to back.<br><br>I have seen footage of wounded being loaded onto ships on D Day and a person standing on the deck assisting the boom carrying the wounded had an exact same helmet on as mine. <br><br>Several attempts to have the stripes origin identified have failed. The other has a few dents and scrapes and has about 50% of the cork finish.<br> My question or even a poll.
