I dont know who made this one, but its an early swivle bale (my very first Helmet) with two sets of numbers on it. One is obviously the heat lot number. But what is the other?
When I received it, it had not been painted on the inside what so ever. Wich I though was kinda weird. Back when I bought it at the surplus store, I feared it rusting further and decided to strip, & repaint it. (I wish I wouldn't have now since it sits in a nice dry room!)
