How do you identify WWII chin cups? I realize some have 4 eyelets and some have 5. As far as the 4 hole, do they all have stitching between the 3rd and 4th
eyelet? Are they the same as post Korea thru Vietnam chin cups except in color? Do some have U.S. and some not?
I bought this one shown and cannot tell if it is
genuine WWII or if it could be a Vietnam era that has been dyed or bleached to look this way. It appears the same as the 'Nam era cups I have, eyelets and
all. Can anyone tell me if the eyelets are the same metal from WWII thru Vietnam?
